Kilimanjaro Climb and Safari | September 2-18, 2019
Land Cost (for this climb and safari) – $6800

One of the “7 Summits” and the highest point in Africa, this adventure will be led by Rick and Celia Wilcox. Rick & Celia are excited to return to Africa and work with our African guides for another climb of Kilimanjaro. After leading or participating in over forty high altitude expeditions, Rick has a deep appreciation for altitude. Kilimanjaro, at 19,340’, has serious altitude concerns.

This will be a 9 day fully supported climb and unforgettable 4 day wildlife safari.

Climbing Kilimanjaro involves hiking and requires no technical climbing or mountaineering experience. The biggest challenge and danger is the high altitude. Kilimanjaro is not a peak you can climb on your own, you must have a licensed guide and porters to carry your gear. This is essential in sustaining the local economy. After our climb, we will spend 4 days and 3 nights visiting the spectacular Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. The wildlife viewing will be spectacular as this is the height of the magnificent wildebeest migration.

At this time the flight from Boston to Kilimanjaro Internatioinal Airport (RT) is $1,190. To secure your place on the Kilimanjaro/safari  trip a $2,000.00 deposit is due by December 28th. Get on board and join this spectacular adventure in Africa!
